About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators to work under a written independent contractor agreement. The company offers competitive, negotiable rates, a large number of loads, and personalized load matching based on the owner-operator’s preferences. Dispatchers have more than four years of experience. Payment is made within 3–5 business days, with a 3% quick-pay option. The stated workdays are Monday through Friday. The company does not hire company drivers.

Requirements

• Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
• Be a U.S. citizen, resident, green card holder, or work authorization holder.
• The owner-operator and any drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• The owner-operator and any drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
• At least six months of driving experience.
• Sprinter vehicles must be from 2016 or newer.
• Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
• Remove all decals from the vehicle.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a load.

Nice To Haves

• Russian language ability.
• Hazmat certificate.
• TSA/TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Operate an owner-provided Sprinter or Cargo Van and accept loads through VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER.
• Discuss load preferences with the company so dispatchers can offer suitable loads.
• Ensure all drivers are approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting company loads.
• Provide the vehicle’s registration and insurance.
• Notify the company before putting the vehicle on the road if making changes to it.
