About The Position

Reporting to the Sportsbook Supervisor, the Sportsbook Ticket Writer is the face of the retail operation. The role provides a high level of customer service to regular customers and novice bettors, helping everyone feel welcome at the sportsbook. The Ticket Writer must be familiar with sports betting options and answer customer questions to help them make informed, responsible wagering decisions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, pull, or push 25 pounds.
• Must be able to write for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, bend, or reach without significant boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier customer service that encourages customers to return.
• Adhere to company rules and regulations and gaming control board requirements.
• Become familiar with betting options and discuss them with customers.
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints, escalating them to the direct supervisor when needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation according to company policy and gaming control board standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
