About The Position

As an On Call Sportsbook Mutuel Clerk at Aria, you will help create an exciting and seamless guest experience by assisting with wagers and accurately handling transactions. You will collaborate with colleagues and provide guest-focused service to support smooth sportsbook operations. The starting rate is $17 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Write, verify, and pay tickets for race and sports wagers in accordance with department policies and procedures and applicable gaming laws and regulations.
• Maintain a cash bank for the shift, accept payments, and provide correct change.
• Stock race and sports book writer/cashier stations with supplies and keep stations neat and clean.
• Accurately and promptly pay winning tickets, including verifying tickets and payoffs.
• Maintain and reconcile the bank for the assigned shift according to cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Explain wagering rules, betting lines, odds, and procedures to guests.
• Create and enter player tracking cards.
• Protect customer rewards and adhere to credit lines.
• Notify management of escalated or recurring guest issues and concerns, as well as apparent suspicious activity.
