About The Position

As an On Call Sportsbook Mutuel Clerk, you will help create an exciting and seamless guest experience by assisting with wagers and accurately handling transactions. You will collaborate with the team and provide friendly, guest-focused service to support smooth sportsbook operations. The starting rate is $17 plus tips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Prior sportsbook experience.
• Prior cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, verify, and pay race and sports wager tickets in accordance with department policies and procedures and applicable gaming statutes and regulations.
• Maintain a cash bank during the assigned shift, accept payments, and provide correct change.
• Stock race and sportsbook writer/cashier stations with supplies and keep stations neat and clean.
• Accurately and promptly pay winning tickets, verifying tickets and payoffs.
• Maintain and reconcile the bank for the assigned shift according to cash-handling policies and procedures.
• Explain wagering rules, betting lines, odds, and procedures to guests.
• Create and enter player tracking cards.
• Protect customer rewards and adhere to credit lines.
• Notify management of escalated or recurring guest issues and concerns, and apparent suspicious activity.
