About The Position

Miami Valley Gaming is hiring a part-time seasonal Mutuel Clerk for its Racing team in Lebanon, Ohio. The role supports an exceptional guest experience by selling and cashing pari-mutuel tickets for simulcast signals, maintaining and balancing a change bank, and providing accurate information and customer service to Racing guests. The clerk follows service, health, safety, hygiene, and SERVE standards, reports safety hazards and guest concerns, and may assist with other reasonable duties as needed. On-the-job training is provided.

The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round. Shifts vary and are 6–8 hours. The starting wage is $17.60 per hour, with time-and-a-half pay on select holidays and high-volume business days. Responsibilities

• Maintain a change bank for cashing and selling pari-mutuel tickets.
• Sell and cash pari-mutuel tickets for all simulcast signals during assigned shifts.
• Complete required paperwork and balance the bank at the end of each shift.
• Promote positive public relations and provide excellent customer service to Racing guests.
• Stay informed about promotions and events and provide accurate information to patrons.
• Respond to customer requests and complaints by immediately reporting them to the Racing Supervisor or Racing Operations Manager.
• Follow the 4 Key Elements of Service Delivery and SERVE expectations.
• Perform duties safely and report potential safety hazards to management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including reasonable temporary duties outside the position description when needed for efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
