About The Position

Soccer Shots Long Island West is seeking an energetic, organized, and people-oriented Sports Recruiting & Operations Coordinator to recruit, hire, and support the coaches who deliver its children's soccer programs. HR experience is not required; paid training in recruiting and hiring is provided. The role is full-time and on-site in Farmingdale, Long Island, NY, and is not remote. Reliable transportation is required, and relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Background in sports, coaching, college athletics, or working with children.
• Experience as a former college athlete, coach, assistant coach, or athletic department staff member.
• Experience in youth sports, camps, childcare, recreation, or after-school programs.
• Previous recruiting or HR experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit coaches through colleges, universities, athletic departments, and local networks.
• Review applications, conduct phone screens, and schedule interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding, background checks, and new-hire paperwork.
• Build relationships with coaches, candidates, and college contacts.
• Maintain recruiting records.
• Work with the operations team to keep coaching positions filled.
