About The Position

The Spire Bar Server provides friendly, courteous, and timely food and beverage service to guests at the Arizona Biltmore’s outdoor bar and lounge. The role includes maintaining a clean, organized service station and section; serving, pre-bussing, and resetting tables; and maintaining significant knowledge of the food and beverage menus. The position is part-time and requires weekend availability.

Requirements

At least two years of serving experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
Experience with point-of-sale systems such as Micros or Agilysis.
Maricopa County Food Handler Card.
TIPS Certified.
Must be available to work weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience in an upscale or luxury dining environment.
Hotel or resort experience.
Title IV Certification.
ServSafe Certified.
CPR / First Aid Certified.

Responsibilities

Check and maintain the proper setup and cleanliness of the service station before, during, and after the shift.
Greet guests courteously and explain specials, promotions, and snacks.
Take orders, recite available call and premium brands as requested, memorize available drinks, and upsell appropriate items.
Record guest orders and repeat them to confirm accuracy.
Enter orders into the point-of-sale system for the bartender and kitchen.
Replenish beverages as needed and check guest satisfaction.
Present checks promptly, thank guests, and invite them to return.
Keep the service station and section clean and organized; serve, pre-bus, and reset tables during the shift.
Maintain significant knowledge of the food and beverage menus.
