About The Position

The Retail Attendant provides exceptional luxury service while selling merchandise and communicating with guests and co-workers. The role includes operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash and end-of-day paperwork, receiving daily receipts, steaming garments, organizing back stock, and displaying merchandise. The attendant maintains store cleanliness, prepares the sales floor and dressing rooms for business, answers phones, assists with special customer orders, and processes sales according to Forbes and LXR Service Standards. Team members attend monthly product knowledge meetings and support other plaza stores. The position is part-time and requires availability Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Prior retail experience.
Prior customer service experience.
Experience in an upscale or luxury environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate technical knowledge of the store point-of-sale system, end-of-day paperwork, and cash handling.
Check in daily receipts accurately, steam garments, organize back stock, and display merchandise.
Help keep the store clean and merchandise straightened at opening and closing each day.
Attend monthly product knowledge meetings.
Prepare the sales floor, music, lighting, and dressing rooms for daily business.
Answer phones, assist with special customer orders, and ring in sales according to Forbes and LXR Service Standards.
Promote positive teamwork and enthusiastically support and recommend other plaza stores.
Follow procedures for checking out the bank and store key.
Follow policies for parking, professional attire, and use of company equipment.
Work to reduce risks of injury to guests and associates and damage to property; know and appropriately follow emergency procedures.
