About The Position
Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert, patient-centered care in Anmoore, West Virginia, serving the listed coverage area. The position offers one-to-one care, flexible scheduling, independent work with team support, and opportunities for advancement. Part-time and PRN schedules are available. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- At least one year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where practicing.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification, in accordance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ speech or language difficulties and determine whether continued therapy services are needed.
- Teach patients to make sounds and improve their voices.
- Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability.
- Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises that support progress outside direct therapy sessions.
- Document patient progress, clinical notes, and responses to therapy, and submit visit documentation according to Agency policy.
