About The Position

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert, patient-centered care in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, serving Hudson and Bergen counties. The role offers one-to-one care in patients’ homes, flexible scheduling, independent work with team support, and opportunities for advancement. The position is full-time.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• At least one year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where practicing.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ speech and language difficulties and determine the need for continued therapy services.
• Teach patients how to produce sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability.
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises that support progress outside direct therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress, clinical notes, and responses to therapy, and submit visit documentation according to agency policy.
