About The Position

RXO is a transportation solutions provider using technology, a broad network, and service-focused solutions to help shippers and carriers move goods across North America. The Logistics Specialist (LTL) manages daily operations for assigned customer accounts by coordinating and tracking shipments, handling freight classification and quote pricing, and building relationships with carriers and customer contacts. The role supports profitability by selecting appropriate carriers and service levels and resolving shipment issues while maintaining a high level of service. Compensation is $50,000; the role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and skill set.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily operations for assigned accounts and understand their growth strategies, goals, and contractual agreements.
• Track customer shipments, monitor an assigned portion of the load board, and ensure loads are covered and serviced properly.
• Communicate effectively and promptly with internal teams and external customers using appropriate channels.
• Handle freight classification and provide accurate pricing for quote requests in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve shipment issues, including delays, discrepancies, and damages.
• Develop strong working relationships with customer contacts and facilities.
• Build internal relationships with carrier representatives, managers, and sales teams, and contribute as a team player.
• Identify customers with heavy or consistent freight volume who may be suited for customer-specific pricing.
