About The Position

RXO is seeking a Logistics Specialist focused on less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation to manage daily operations for assigned customer accounts. The role includes coordinating and tracking shipments, handling freight classification and pricing for quotes, and developing relationships with carriers and customer contacts. Specialists help ensure profitability by selecting appropriate carriers and service levels, resolving shipment issues, and maintaining a high level of service. The position supports customer accounts by carrying out day-to-day operational requirements in line with account goals, growth strategies, and contractual agreements. It also involves working with internal teams and external customers, assessing freight for customer-specific pricing opportunities, and ensuring freight pricing and classification comply with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Execute daily operations for assigned accounts in accordance with their growth strategies, goals, and contractual agreements.
Track customer shipments, monitor an assigned portion of the load board, and ensure loads are covered and serviced properly.
Communicate promptly and effectively with internal teams and external customers through appropriate channels.
Classify freight and provide accurate pricing for quote requests in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Identify, communicate, and resolve shipment issues, including delays, discrepancies, or damages.
Develop strong working relationships with customer contacts and facilities.
Build internal relationships with carrier representatives, managers, and sales teams, and contribute as a team player.
Identify customers with heavy or consistent freight volumes who may be suited for customer-specific pricing.
Select appropriate carriers and service levels to support profitability and service quality.
