About The Position

As a Specialist, Logistics at RXO, you will provide logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. The role supports customers, account managers, receivers, and drivers by monitoring and coordinating loads from pickup through delivery. The schedule is 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of logistics experience.
• Weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken, and update receivers and customers on load status.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries and verify that loads arrive on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers to ensure loads will deliver on time; validate load data before marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages, and complete appropriate documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers.
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers.
