About The Position

Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services is hiring a full-time Dispatcher at its Charlotte location. The starting wage is $20 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with afternoon shifts and one weekend day per week required; shifts may vary. This role coordinates driver communication and routes while helping ensure pets entrusted to the company receive attentive care and families receive professional, empathetic service. The position offers a full benefits package after 30 days of employment.

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort speaking with all people with empathy and professionalism.
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds unaided.
• A cell phone capable of calling, texting, and using a GPS application.
• Successful completion of a four-panel drug test and background check.
• A detail-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering error-free services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Scheduling flexibility; evenings and weekends are required, and shifts may vary.
• Commitment to adhering to the company's code of ethics.

Responsibilities

• Check in drivers when they return from their routes.
• Serve as the main point of contact for driver-facing communication.
• Assist multiple families at once.
• Monitor vans during transit to help meet scheduled pickups and returns.
• Help maintain the crematory facility and company vehicles in a clean, presentable condition.
• Check work for errors to support high-quality customer service.
• Determine the procedure to be followed for each pet in the company's care.
• Administer care for pets entrusted to the company by clients.
