Special Needs Caregiver
About The Position
BAYADA Special Needs Caregivers provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role focuses on building confidence, strengthening everyday skills, supporting independence, and offering consistent, relationship-centered care. Positions are available in Hampton Township, McKnight, and Avalon, Pennsylvania. The position offers flexible scheduling, a variety of shifts and locations, weekly pay, and placements intended to keep commutes within 30 minutes of home. Mileage reimbursement options are available. Caregivers receive support from a team that provides 24/7 clinical guidance. Compensation is up to $19 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations.
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities.
- Willingness to travel between clients within the assigned area.
