About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Special Needs Caregivers (DSPs) in Chester County and Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Caregivers work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings, serving as companions and mentors and helping clients reach their full potential. The role offers part-time work and flexible scheduling across locations and shifts. Hiring locations include Exton, Malvern, West Chester, Downingtown, Springfield, Lansdowne, Glenn Mills, Aston, and Glenolden.

Pay starts at $18 per hour, with weekly pay. The company aims to match opportunities within about 30 minutes of employees’ homes and offers mileage reimbursement options. Training may be available through an apprentice program for applicants without the specified disability-services experience.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; training may be available through an apprentice program for candidates without this experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time with clients participating in their favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
