About The Position

Provide non-medical, in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs). Follow individualized client care plans and provide periodic progress updates to the care team. Services may include personal care such as bathing, showering, and toileting assistance; meal preparation; companionship; medication reminders; and light housekeeping.

Pay is set by assignment and may vary based on client location and required services. The expected pay rate for current California assignments is $16.90–$20 USD.

Requirements

• Great communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Two references; at least one must be able to confirm disability-related experience.
• Proof of a negative TB test, in accordance with Regional Center regulations; requirements may vary by location.
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid certifications.

• Ability to travel to different cities is highly desired.
