About The Position
Work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them reach their full potential. The role serves clients in New Castle and surrounding areas. BAYADA is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider and complies with applicable state and local mandates.
Requirements
- One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities; paid training may be available for candidates without this experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
- Spend time with clients on their favorite hobbies and activities.
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
- Participate in community integration activities.
