About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring part-time Special Needs Caregivers / DSPs in Concord, North Carolina. The role provides one-on-one companionship and support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in home and community settings, helping them reach their full potential. Caregivers support clients with personal care, daily tasks, appointments, hobbies, and community activities. Scheduling is flexible, with weekday and weekend shifts available. Requirements

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities; training may be available through the apprentice program for applicants without this experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time with clients engaging in their favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
