About The Position

Spa Specialists support a range of essential spa functions and help create memorable, distinctive guest experiences. They deliver a variety of services, including promoting spa services and retail products, scheduling reservations and confirming appointments, answering questions about services, checking in guests, and processing payments. They help make transactions feel like part of the guest experience. The role requires following company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe workplace and quality standards, and presenting and communicating professionally. Specialists use reservation software and spend extended periods standing, sitting, or walking, including across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. They perform hands-on tasks such as handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance and up to 25 pounds with assistance, and reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable duties may be requested.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
No related work experience is required.
No supervisory experience is required.
No license or certification is required.
Ability to use reservation software and visually verify information.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

Promote spa services and retail products.
Schedule reservations and confirm appointments.
Answer guest questions about spa services.
Check in guests.
Process payments and make transactions part of the guest experience.
Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a safe workplace, and uphold quality standards.
Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
