About The Position

Spa Specialists support a range of spa functions and help create memorable guest experiences. They promote spa services and retail, schedule reservations and confirm appointments, answer questions about services, check guests in, and process payments. They take initiative and help make each transaction part of the guest experience.

The role requires following company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe workplace and quality standards, and presenting and communicating professionally. Specialists use reservation software and perform duties involving extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, including on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. They handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance and up to 25 pounds with assistance, and may reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to use reservation software and visually verify information.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance and 25 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees; and bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
