About The Position

Spa Specialists support a range of spa functions and help create memorable guest experiences. They promote spa services and retail, schedule reservations and confirm appointments, answer questions about services, check in guests, and process payments. They are expected to make these transactions feel like part of the guest experience.

The role requires creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and maintaining professional uniform, appearance, and communication. Spa Specialists perform other reasonable duties as requested. The position is with The Ritz-Carlton, part of Marriott International, whose service standards include the Gold Standards, Employee Promise, Credo, and Service Values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Ability to use reservation software and read and visually verify information.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance and up to 25 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
