About The Position

Support the spa operation by promptly restocking supplies and cleaning lockers and treatment rooms. Interact politely, responsively, and promptly with guests and coworkers, including providing basic information about the treatment menu. Perform other duties as directed by a supervisor while maintaining a positive attitude and contributing to the team environment.

The role includes maintaining clean, hygienic, and organized work and back-of-house areas; stocking and folding linens; cleaning lockers and sanitizing tables, guest items, and tools; assisting with beverage stations and basic non-alcoholic beverage preparation; and helping therapists prepare treatments. Maintain stock and cleanliness in accordance with applicable city and state sanitation standards. The position requires guest-service skills, adherence to hotel policies and safety procedures, and the ability to work in a busy environment while performing physically demanding cleaning and restocking tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
• Comply with safety and health department procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with hotel standards.
• Adhere to hotel policies, including attendance, safety, and behavior policies.
• Have current, legal, and unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Hold a current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to move between floors as needed; lift up to 40 pounds; and stand, stretch, bend, kneel, squat, and work in limited spaces.
• Ability to work indoors in varying noise levels and exposure to factors including CRT fatigue, dust, and pet dander or hair.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, maintain physical stamina and a positive mental attitude, and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to handle supplies safely and hygienically and follow proper cleanliness and disposal methods.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapt to changing situations, maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and respond constructively to feedback.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience as a housekeeping or spa attendant.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment, including stocking supplies, folding towels and sheets, cleaning lockers, and sanitizing tables, guest items, and tools.
• Assist with maintenance and cleaning of beverage stations and related supplies.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Assist therapists with basic treatment preparation, tools, and supplies, and maintain the preparation area.
• Prepare basic non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, water, and iced tea.
• Restock locker-room amenities, clear used supplies, and maintain stocks of towels and sheets.
• Maintain back-of-house supplies and areas in compliance with city and state sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
