About The Position
The Spa Locker Room Attendant greets each guest into the locker room and provides an overview/orientation of the locker room, facilities, and lounges. This role adheres to and assists in training Forbes and Umstead service standards for new and current concierge. The pay range includes gratuities and/or service charges. Responsibilities include welcoming and greeting each guest, issuing robes, slippers, and lockers, and providing an overview of facilities to first-time visitors. The attendant replenishes guest amenities, products, and towels as needed, maintains a presence in the spa facilities as a liaison between service providers and guests, and ensures the cleanliness and neatness of the spa and fitness center. This role involves removing used linen and organizing/stocking clean linen, escorting guests to the proper lounge for their services, and frequently checking lounges and the meditation courtyard to respond to guest needs and ensure a pleasant visit. The attendant must stay up-to-date and become well-versed/trained in the latest developments pertinent to their department, the spa, and the hotel, and attend all departmental, spa, and property meetings and training sessions. The role requires the ability to push/pull 25 lbs. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent required
- Must be able to push/pull 25 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in the operation of the locker room and facilities area helpful
- First Aid and CPR training desired, but not necessary
Responsibilities
