Spa Front Desk Concierge - Part Time
About The Position
Black Desert Resort’s Spa Front Desk Concierge is the first and last point of contact for spa guests, helping create a seamless, memorable experience in a luxury wellness setting. The role welcomes guests, manages appointments, provides information about spa services and amenities, and supports smooth spa operations. It requires warmth, organization, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional guest service. This is an onsite, year-round, part-time position at Black Desert Resort’s spa in Southern Utah. The stated pay range is $16–$18 per hour; individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
Requirements
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work in a calm yet demanding, potentially high-pressure structured environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of front desk, concierge, or spa experience preferred.
- Knowledge of spa services and wellness products is a plus.
- Proficiency with scheduling or point-of-sale systems such as Mindbody, Book4Time, or SpaSoft.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet spa guests and members, assisting with check-in, check-out, and orientation to spa facilities.
- Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Schedule, modify, and confirm appointments using spa management software.
- Maintain working knowledge of spa services, providers, availability, and retail offerings.
- Offer personalized recommendations based on guest needs and preferences.
- Accurately process payments, gift card transactions, gratuities, and retail sales.
- Assist with locker room and relaxation lounge oversight, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
- Communicate special requests, service delays, and guest preferences to spa providers.
- Handle guest issues or complaints discreetly and escalate them to management when necessary.
- Maintain inventory of robes, amenities, and retail displays.
- Support a peaceful, professional, guest-centered spa environment.
- Attend mandatory orientations and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
