About The Position
Fairmont Kea Lani is seeking a Spa Experience Coordinator to provide personalized guest service at its luxury spa. The coordinator greets guests, guides them through their spa visits, helps them use the lounge facilities, and shares information about spa services and products. The role also supports reception and spa operations, including scheduling, payment collection, clerical tasks, sanitation, linen handling, and reporting equipment deficiencies. The hourly rate is $27.54. The position is casual, with varying schedules that include weekends and holidays to meet hotel business needs. Candidates must have identification proving authorization to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not offered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or vocational training.
- TB clearance.
- Authorization to work in the United States; work visa sponsorship is not offered.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an accredited school of aesthetics.
- Experience in the hospitality or spa industry.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to guests while maintaining an atmosphere of aloha.
- Answer guest inquiries and direct guests to the appropriate person when additional assistance is needed.
- Escort guests to appointments and around the spa, providing tours as required.
- Assist guests with use of lounge facilities, including experience showers and heated benches.
- Provide facility information and literature in person, by phone, and by email.
- Collect payment for services rendered and products purchased.
- Schedule treatments using spa software and other computer applications.
- Perform clerical duties, including filing, creating sales kits, site inspections, and other office tasks.
- Ensure smooth operation of reception and assist in spa areas as required.
- Report equipment deficiencies.
- Maintain the facility in sanitary condition, including cleaning lockers, locker rooms, and lounges and keeping them tidy and well stocked.
- Maintain linen inventory and transport linen to and from the laundry on a scheduled basis.
- Organize time to complete side work according to shift demands.
- Maintain knowledge of current menu items, products, and methods, and provide guests with helpful information.
