About The Position

Equinox is seeking an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Spa Desk Associate for its East 63rd Street location in New York City. Under the direction of Spa leadership, the associate supports daily spa operations, contributes to service sales and retail targets, participates in club outreach efforts, and provides superior customer service to members, prospects, and guests. The position offers an innovative work environment, educational opportunities, and access to a community of members focused on health and performance.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Commit to a minimum of 2 days per week.
• Availability to work during weekends.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Enthusiastic, upbeat, outgoing, personable, and passionate, with knowledge of the spa industry.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to utilize new techniques and ideas.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily activities of spa operations under the direction of Spa leadership.
• Recommend treatments and enhancements to clients to contribute to the spa’s daily service sales goals.
• Inform members and guests about retail products and sell them in support of monthly retail targets.
• Support spa-driven club outreach events and programs to promote business growth.
• Provide superior customer service to members, prospects, and guests.
