About The Position

Eridan is seeking a Solution Engineer for its Solutions team to own integrations between partner CU/DU stacks and Eridan’s radio units (RUs). The role is the technical point of contact for integration partners, explaining requirements, configuring and debugging systems, and validating end-to-end performance from the core network through the radio. It is a systems-focused, non-coding role requiring comfort with the Linux command line and a broad understanding of disaggregated RAN components.

The engineer will build and validate networks used in applications including robotics, autonomous vehicles, and smart factories, where latency and reliability are critical. Work is approximately 85% in the lab and 15% in the field, with opportunities to travel to partner and customer sites, including internationally.

Requirements

• Broad understanding of the components of a disaggregated RAN and how to integrate them.
• Comfort working in the Linux command line.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship or visa transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Open RAN bring-up across the core, SMO, CU, DU, and RU.
• Validate new software, devices, and advanced radio variants, including 4T4R and 100 MHz configurations, in lab and field settings.
• Partner with internal Software and R&D teams to integrate features and build new system capabilities.
• Validate performance across the core → CU → DU → RU → UE chain against RF and network parameters, including latency- and uplink-sensitive use cases such as robotics and teleoperation.
• Run partner integration projects independently from the first technical exchange through complete, optimized integration.
• Work directly with partner engineers to explain requirements, drive debugging, and maintain project progress.
• Debug issues across Linux systems, network switching and fronthaul, and RAN configuration using tools such as Keysight and Wireshark.
