About The Position

Eridan is hiring a Solution Engineer to join its Solutions team and own integrations between partner CU/DU stacks and Eridan's RU. The role is the technical point of contact for integration partners, explaining requirements, configuring and debugging systems, and validating end-to-end performance from the core through the radio. It is a systems role rather than a coding role and involves working extensively on the Linux command line, with a broad understanding of disaggregated RAN components.

The Solution Engineer will bring up and validate networks used by robots, autonomous vehicles, and smart factories, where latency and reliability are critical. Work is split approximately 85% in the lab and 15% in the field, with opportunities to travel to partner and customer sites, including internationally.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship or visa transfers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Open RAN bring-up, including the core, SMO, CU, DU, and RU.
• Validate new software, devices, and advanced radio variants, such as 4T4R and 100 MHz, in lab and field settings.
• Partner with internal Software and R&D teams to integrate features and build new system capabilities.
• Validate core-to-CU-to-DU-to-RU-to-UE performance against RF and network parameters in lab and field settings, including latency- and uplink-sensitive use cases such as robotics and teleoperation.
• Own partner integration projects from the first technical exchange through complete, optimized integration.
• Work directly with partner engineers to explain requirements, drive debugging, and keep integration work moving.
• Debug issues across Linux systems, network switching and fronthaul, and RAN configuration using tools including Keysight and Wireshark.
