The Windows Specialist will defend and grow Windows within Microsoft’s largest and most strategic customers, helping them define and modernize endpoint strategy in an environment shaped by AI, security threats, and platform competition. The role serves as a trusted advisor to senior IT and business leaders, anchoring engagement with CIOs and extending influence across CTOs, CISOs, and AI transformation leaders so Windows remains a foundation for secure, AI-driven work. The specialist leads high-impact, time-bound customer engagements where Windows platform decisions are strategically critical or at risk. The role communicates Windows’ differentiated value in security, resiliency, management, and AI workloads; coordinates partners and internal teams to demonstrate solutions and deliver outcomes; and turns successful customer engagements into repeatable evidence that can scale across industries and partners. The position contributes to protecting and expanding Microsoft’s commercial footprint and supports customers modernizing endpoint environments, adopting AI-driven workflows, and gaining long-term value from device and endpoint investments. The role is part of Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions-Core and the Windows & Device Sales organization, which works with Microsoft’s commercial ecosystem to drive Windows platform adoption and customer outcomes. It requires U.S. citizenship verification because the position supports government customers and may involve access to export-controlled information. The successful candidate must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Checks upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
