Software Engineering IC2

Microsoft•Redmond, WA

About The Position

The Windows Ecosystem and Commercial Engagement (WECE) team brings Microsoft’s Windows vision to life through a global network of partners, customers, and engineering teams. Within WECE, the Partner Engineering Platform (PEP) team builds secure, reliable, and compliant services, data pipelines, and agentic solutions that enable collaboration across these groups. The Software Engineer designs, builds, tests, and operates cloud services that power collaboration between Microsoft and its partners. The role addresses engineering challenges across APIs, distributed systems, security, data processing, and service reliability. The engineer owns defined features end to end, works on production systems, and develops increasing independence while delivering secure, observable, and maintainable code. The work helps Microsoft and external partners securely collaborate, exchange information, and manage critical engineering workflows at scale. The role requires meeting Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including a Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter. No relocation is offered. The position will be open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
