This position involves interpreting business requirements and implementing the necessary technology to fulfill them. The role serves as a technical lead for enterprise-level projects, analyzing existing application interfaces, schemas, and data needs. The developer will architect and code multi-environment system solutions using .NET, Azure, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and MSSQL. A key responsibility is contributing to the migration of legacy applications to Azure, including portfolio assessment, migration planning (rehost, replatform, or rebuild), and hands-on execution. The role also involves building and improving CI/CD pipelines, treating deployment, testing, and observability as integral parts of development. Additionally, the developer will contribute to the team’s AI-assisted development practice and coding standards, work closely with business departments to understand operations, and develop critical components of the solution such as security, infrastructure, and application interfaces, ensuring all projects exceed industry best practices. The position includes leading and participating in code and design reviews, designing and ensuring unit and integration testing for quality, and maintaining excellent communication with the Development Team Supervisor. Creating and maintaining good technical documentation is also required. The role may involve providing emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
