About The Position

The Transfer Team employee unloads delivery trucks, places merchandise in the appropriate staging area, and loads merchandise for transfer to other locations. The employee labels and scans received merchandise using scan guns to help maintain accurate inventory counts, reviews daily assignments, and assists other warehouse departments as needed. The role also involves providing excellent service to internal and external customers and completing other duties as directed by management. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Positive attitude when working with customers.
Knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
Ability to perform the physical activities required for the role, including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

Unload delivery trucks.
Place merchandise in the proper staging area.
Learn merchandise information quickly.
Load trucks with merchandise for transfer to other locations.
Label and scan received merchandise using scan guns to ensure accurate inventory counts.
Check daily assignments and responsibilities.
Assist other warehouse departments as needed.
Provide excellent customer relations to internal and external customers.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
