About The Position

The Product Returns employee receives deliveries and returned merchandise at the loading dock, labels and scans merchandise to maintain accurate inventory, places items in the appropriate areas, and assembles merchandise. The role includes scanning merchandise between warehouse departments, checking daily assignments, and providing excellent service to internal and external customers. Other duties may be assigned by management. This is a safety-sensitive position and requires passing a pre-employment drug screening. The role involves frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and constant lifting up to 30 pounds. Employees may occasionally work in hot or cold temperatures and be exposed to wet or humid conditions.

Requirements

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Must be able to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds constantly.

Responsibilities

Receive delivery trucks, returns, work orders, inter-store transfers, repossessions, and mattresses at the loading dock.
Place merchandise in the proper area with the correct tag or label.
Quickly gain knowledge of merchandise.
Label and scan all received merchandise with scan guns to ensure accurate inventory counts.
Check daily assignments and responsibilities.
Assemble merchandise.
Scan merchandise between individual warehouse departments.
Provide excellent customer relations to external and internal customers.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
