About The Position

The Product Returns role receives and processes merchandise and other items arriving at the loading dock, including delivery trucks, returns, work orders, inter-store transfers, repossessions, and mattresses. The employee places merchandise in the proper area with the correct tag or label, labels and scans received merchandise with scan guns to maintain accurate inventory counts, and scans merchandise transferred between warehouse departments. The role also includes assembling merchandise, checking daily assignments, learning merchandise quickly, and providing excellent customer relations to internal and external customers. Other duties may be assigned by management. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential physical activities: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds constantly to move objects.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

Receive delivery trucks, returns, work orders from the loading dock, inter-store transfers, repossessions, and mattresses.
Place merchandise in the proper area with the correct tag or label.
Learn merchandise quickly.
Label and scan all received merchandise properly with scan guns to ensure accurate inventory counts.
Check daily assignments and responsibilities.
Assemble merchandise.
Scan merchandise moving from individual departments within the warehouse to other departments within the warehouse.
Use excellent customer relations with external and internal customers.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
