About The Position

Zimmer Communications is seeking a Social Media Strategist for its Columbia team. This marketing and communications role focuses on social media management and implementing strategies to reach and expand the audiences of a diverse client base. The strategist works with clients and the marketing team to develop campaigns, present strategy, create and moderate content, and review analytics to refine social platform strategies.

Requirements

Ability to present relevant information in a group setting as the point of contact for social media strategy.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, customer orientation, and strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
Ability to incorporate client feedback into creative content and strategy.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Canva Pro.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience with Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Canva Pro.
Graphic design experience.
BS in Strategic Communications, Marketing, Business, or Public Relations.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret audience insights and industry trends to formulate social media strategy.
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Capture and analyze relevant social data, metrics, insights, and best practices.
Present social media strategy as part of an overall campaign alongside the marketing team to secure client investment.
Generate, edit, and publish daily content.
Moderate user-generated content according to the moderation policy for each community.
Collaborate with clients to review analytics and finalize social platform strategy.
