About The Position

Zimmer Communications is seeking a Social Media Strategist for its Columbia team. This marketing and communications role emphasizes social media management and involves implementing social media strategies to reach and expand the audiences of the company’s diverse client base. The strategist works with clients and the marketing team to develop, present, execute, and refine social media strategies and content.

Requirements

Ability to present relevant information in a group setting while serving as the point of contact for social media strategy.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, customer orientation, and strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
Ability to incorporate client feedback into creative content and strategy.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Canva Pro.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience with Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite, and Canva Pro.
Graphic design experience.
BS in Strategic Communications, Marketing, Business, or Public Relations.

Responsibilities

Analyze audience insights and industry trends to develop effective social media strategies.
Build and execute social media strategies using competitive research, platform selection, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Capture and analyze social data, metrics, insights, and best practices.
Present social media strategy as part of overall campaigns alongside the marketing team to secure client investment.
Generate, edit, and publish daily content.
Moderate user-generated content according to each community’s moderation policy.
Collaborate with clients to review analytics and finalize social platform strategies.
