About The Position

The Strategic & Editorial Content (SEC) Group is TD Wealth's content centre of excellence, responsible for developing editorial, strategic and technical content that highlights the depth and breadth of TD Wealth expertise and showcases our thought leadership to TD clients and the world. The team is comprised of talented content professionals who bring together their editorial, production, creative and technical expertise to create industry-leading financial content across digital and broadcast streams. SEC properties include: MoneyTalk "Brought to you by TD," available at www.moneytalkgo.com and distributed across multiple TD ecosystems, MoneyTalk Live, streamed daily through TD WebBroker, and MoneyTalk on BNN Bloomberg, broadcast weekly on CTV properties, as well as live and original programming on multiple radio stations and various social channels each week. We are seeking a seasoned Social Content Manager to oversee the development, delivery and continuous improvement of a multi-channel financial insight engine within TD Wealth. This role leads social strategy for MoneyTalk and select properties within TD Wealth. The successful candidate will blend expertise in editorial and content marketing to package and promote content aimed at helping clients grow and protect their wealth. As part of the Strategic and Editorial Content team, you will work with an industry-leading team of multidisciplinary storytellers, designers, and content producers to set and execute an always on 'social first' content strategy to help TD Wealth achieve its growth ambitions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years relevant experience in editorial or content marketing for social channels, setting and executing strategy
  • Subject matter experience with personal finance, capital markets and investing content
  • Experience operating in regulated or risk-managed environments
  • Comfort working across multiple lines of business with various stakeholders
  • Experience with online publishing tools and platforms (Hootsuite and/or Sprinklr, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)

Responsibilities

  • Own and operate a busy content calendar that includes daily deliveries on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, as well as internal owned channels
  • Work with a multi-skilled production team (designers, videographers, producers) to generate content that translates complex and sophisticated investing and personal finance insights for a wide audience
  • Help teams develop content that showcases proprietary insights from TD Wealth thought leadership and platforms
  • Work within a risk regulated environment to ensure content is appropriate, relevant and delivers actionable insights that support TD Wealth businesses.
  • Own, communicate and manage social channel requirements (including accessibility and regulatory requirements in a risk-managed environment)
  • Serve as a strategic point of content for internal lines of business, including Direct Investing and TD Asset Management, to help develop ready-to-publish content under tight time constraints both direct to consumer and as advisor support
  • Feed reporting and analytics to help measure the impact of social content. Identify high value content opportunities and optimize to grow engagement
  • Set social standards and manage direction for a team of content producers through the complete life cycle of content, from content identification and creation through review, translation and publishing
  • Serve as subject matter lead for social content strategy, ensuring content aligns with TD Wealth marketing goals as well as industry trends, market forces and competitive landscape
  • Support MoneyTalk roadmap development to design and build best-in-class content systems
