About The Position

Tinder's Social team is responsible for maintaining brand relevance at the intersection of culture and conversation. They transform internet trends, dating behaviors, and audience insights into engaging content. This role collaborates closely with Brand, Product, Partnerships, and Creative teams to define Tinder's presence on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, balancing speed, creativity, and cultural relevance to keep Tinder at the forefront of discussions. The ideal candidate is a creator who deeply understands internet culture, knows how to capture attention, and can translate ideas into shareable content. This role involves conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and publishing content across various platforms, with a strong emphasis on speed, taste, and cultural relevance. Additionally, the role requires managing the day-to-day content calendar, identifying content opportunities, and collaborating with creators and cross-functional partners. This is a hybrid role that demands both execution and orchestration capabilities.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience creating social content for a brand, media company, agency, or as an independent creator (portfolio required)
  • Strong understanding of social-first storytelling, internet culture, platform trends, and short-form video content
  • Proven ability to concept, shoot, edit, and publish content using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing content calendars, balancing reactive and planned content, and translating performance insights into creative recommendations
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Product, Partnerships, creators, and external talent in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and creative judgment skills, with a high-ownership and hands-on approach

Responsibilities

  • Concept, shoot, edit, and publish platform-native content across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms
  • Own and manage the day-to-day social content calendar, balancing planned campaigns with reactive cultural moments
  • Translate dating truths, internet trends, and audience behaviors into highly engaging content designed to drive conversation, sharing, and participation
  • Develop scalable content series and repeatable formats that strengthen Tinder's voice and increase audience engagement
  • Partner closely with Social Strategy, Brand, Product, and Partnerships teams to bring campaigns and launches to life in ways that feel culturally relevant and native to each platform
  • Brief, direct, and collaborate with external creators, freelancers, and talent partners to scale creative output when needed
  • Monitor performance metrics, audience feedback, and platform trends to refine creative direction and optimize content performance
  • Build content that reflects platform-specific creative best practices, including pacing, hooks, captions, editing style, and visual storytelling
  • Improve content workflows and creative systems to increase speed, efficiency, and scalability
