About The Position

The Slot Floor Supervisor oversees daily Slot Operations during an assigned shift, ensuring compliance with internal controls, gaming regulations, and company policies. The role supports exceptional guest service, supervises slot floor operations, and assists with team leadership, scheduling, and operational oversight in a fast-paced casino environment.

The position is based at WarHorse Gaming Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is full-time on the swing shift, with a schedule that varies based on business needs. Team members must be able to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

WarHorse Gaming is a gaming and entertainment division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., the economic development corporation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. The work environment includes exposure to secondhand smoke and standard casino conditions. The role involves prolonged standing and walking on the casino floor, regular use of handheld devices and communication equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity, hearing, and manual dexterity are needed for operational tasks.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in a guest service or customer service–driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to use mobile devices, tablets, and touchscreen technology.
• Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Visual acuity, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform operational tasks.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening; employees may also be subject to random drug screenings.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a high-volume, complex resort or casino environment.
• Technical knowledge of slot machines and slot systems.
• Experience training or mentoring team members.
• Familiarity with player tracking systems and complimentary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily slot floor operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and reinforce exceptional guest service standards across the Slot Operations team.
• Assist with developing and implementing customer service strategies for Slot Operations.
• Pay and/or verify jackpots over predetermined thresholds in accordance with Internal Controls.
• Create and manage daily and weekly staff schedules based on operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal currency transaction reporting requirements.
• Respond to guest concerns professionally, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and follow-through.
• Maintain accountability for assigned keys, radios, handheld devices, and other company-issued equipment.
• Attend all required training sessions and operational meetings.
• Follow the Company Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan, including regulations prohibiting service to minors or intoxicated guests.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to support business demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
