About The Position

As a Ski Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing owners and guests for a perfect day on the slopes. Your passion for the property, knowledge of the lodge and the mountain, and respect for guests' belongings will ensure they feel welcome from the moment they arrive. This role involves maintaining the ski storage room, assisting guests with their equipment, providing orientation of the area and slopes, and acting as a brand ambassador. You will use reservation software to manage guest equipment readiness and storage.

Requirements

• A service-focused personality is essential; prior customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
• Constant standing and walking; frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to stay focused and engaged during a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to work outside in winter weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keep the ski storage room organized and updated with current guest information.
• Assist guests and owners with their ski and snowboard equipment, including basic usage and fitting.
• Provide personalized orientation of the area and slopes in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner.
• Maintain a welcoming presence in the ski valet room as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional service.
• Use reservation software to ensure guest equipment is ready each morning and properly stored afterward.
