About The Position

Ski Valet Technicians are the face of Ski Butlers at its on-site hotel service centers. They provide a seamless skier-services experience for hotel guests, welcoming them to the resort, storing equipment for daily use, working with hotel team members, and creating a genuine, personal hospitality experience from arrival to departure. The role supports guest equipment placement and retrieval, equipment fitting and adjustment, information about resort and hotel services, and preparation of equipment and work areas for subsequent shifts. The position is based at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Ski Butlers and Edgewood brand standards through exceptional customer service.
• Meet customer requirements by arriving within five minutes of the agreed time, setting clear expectations about the service, and selecting appropriate equipment based on each guest’s skills and current resort conditions.
• Place and retrieve guests’ skis and other stored equipment accurately and on time.
• Assist guests with fitting and adjusting Ski Butlers equipment as needed.
• Return scheduled equipment to the shop, sanitize and re-sticker it, and tune it for its next use.
• Provide guests with information about resort operations, meeting areas, hotel amenities, transportation, and the local mountain.
• Set up the next shift and future team members for success.
• Enhance the overall skier experience.
• Perform basic ski and snowboard tuning, waxing, and general equipment maintenance.
• Make and answer customer phone calls and respond to face-to-face questions in a positive and inviting tone.
• Take reservations and issue refunds.
• Anticipate guest needs and restock amenities.
• Work confidently in a fast-paced environment.
