About The Position

Ski Butlers is hiring a seasonal Ski Technician for rental delivery in Big Sky, Montana. The role is available full-time or part-time, with a projected start date of December 7, 2026, and work continuing through March. Pay is $18 per hour plus tips. Weekend and holiday work is expected, and daily operations are divided into morning and evening shifts. No previous experience is required.

Ski Technicians interact with customers by delivering ski and snowboard rental equipment to their accommodations, providing on-mountain support, and collecting equipment when rentals end. Technicians are encouraged to develop confident decision-making, accountability, and professional skills while working collaboratively with the team.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled and reactive ski and snowboard rental fittings and deliveries.
• Arrive within five minutes of the agreed-upon delivery time.
• Communicate clear expectations about the scope of service.
• Select appropriate equipment for each guest based on their skills and current resort conditions.
• Provide equipment support to guests within 45 minutes.
• Return scheduled pickups to the shop, sanitize and re-sticker equipment, and tune it for its next use.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels.
• Pack orders for future delivery.
• Set up the next shift and future team members for success.
• Perform basic ski and snowboard tuning, waxing, and general equipment maintenance.
• Make and answer customer phone calls in a positive and inviting manner.
• Restock delivery vehicles with additional equipment.
