About The Position

Ski Butlers is hiring a seasonal Team Leader (also called a shift manager) for its rental delivery operation in Big Sky, Montana. Team leaders uphold customer service standards and manage the flow of day-to-day operations. The work varies from day to day and calls for adapting to changing conditions, managing expectations, and leading by example.

The role includes overseeing shop opening and closing, coordinating shift teams and delivery operations, communicating with customers, and helping ensure brand standards are maintained. Full-time and part-time seasonal roles are available. The base wage is $20 per hour, plus tips. Weekend and holiday work is expected; operations are organized into morning and evening shifts. Previous experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the shop daily.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift team meetings and ensure each Ski Technician understands that shift’s expectations and responsibilities.
• Plan delivery routes, support calls, and pickups for the current and upcoming shift.
• Respond to customer phone calls, text messages, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner.
• Dispatch Ski Technicians on reactive support calls.
• Ensure daily brand standards are met, including standards for uniforms, vans, equipment, and shop cleanliness.
• Set up the next shift for success.
• Upsell existing guests through phone calls and texts during pre-delivery communication.
• Size guests for the proper equipment as orders come into the system.
• Schedule work assignments for the following shift.
• Provide timely positive and constructive feedback and coaching to help meet Key Customer Requirements.
• Assist with labor management during slow periods.
• Take reservations and issue refunds.
• Assist with delivery and support service operations as needed.
