About The Position
The Site Manager leads the team and oversees the store’s daily operations to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. The role sets a strong example in customer service, sales, and team management, with objectives that include increasing profitability and driving sales growth. The Site Manager maintains positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees and uses knowledge of sales and inventory management to develop and implement strategies that improve sales and profitability. The position also oversees site workflow, employee performance and development, store upkeep, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business administration or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in retail management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of sales and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
- Oversee the daily workflow and operations of the site, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee scheduling.
- Provide timely performance evaluations and handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy.
- Set clear tasks, goals, and deadlines for team members; check progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage collaboration, recognize achievements, and address conflicts promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Train, motivate, and manage sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tunnel equipment and general facilities maintenance.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Model a strong safety mindset and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
