About The Position
Capitol Lighting is seeking a Store Manager for its Boca Raton, Florida location. The manager leads Sales and Customer Services, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals, and manage staff effectively. The role focuses on driving sales while providing customers with an outstanding experience. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding guest service by creating a guest-friendly environment, greeting and acknowledging guests, maintaining service standards, and ensuring solid product knowledge.
- Analyze and measure business trends, then develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
- Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, presentations, signage, and assortment across departments, and keep the selling floor adequately stocked.
- Comparison shop, report results, share information with the director, and make appropriate price adjustments.
- Review department and store trends, and recommend and initiate changes to maximize goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures through store management and staff meetings, walk-throughs, audits, and other measures.
- Evaluate and respond to performance issues and actively recruit management candidates.
- Train and develop store management in all aspects of the business, and direct and monitor training and development for store personnel.
- Perform additional duties as required.
