About The Position

The Shops Supervisor supervises the quality and repair of shoes, bric-a-brac, appliances, electronics, furniture, upholstery, and other products. The role trains and instructs employees and beneficiaries in proper procedures, assigns, prioritizes, and evaluates work, and ensures all shop areas operate according to established policies and procedures and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of experience repairing various appliances, electronics, furniture, and similar products, plus some experience supervising employees performing the same or similar work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the quality and repair of shoes, bric-a-brac, appliances, electronics, furniture, upholstery, and other products.
• Train and instruct employees and beneficiaries in proper procedures.
• Assign, prioritize, and evaluate work.
• Ensure shop areas operate within established policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
