Seasonal Retail Support Associate - Shoe Expeditor, Deerbrook Mall
About The Position
As a Shoe Expeditor in the Women’s Shoe department, you help keep operations running smoothly by quickly locating and delivering requested products to selling colleagues and keeping the department clean and organized. You contribute to an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through urgency, attention to detail, teamwork, and customer service. The role is seasonal and requires flexible availability for retail shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position also involves assisting customers, conducting sales transactions, pulling stockroom and digital orders, maintaining merchandise displays and stockroom organization, processing merchandise, performing shoe inventory, and keeping pricing and signage accurate. Regular use of computers and handheld electronic equipment is required.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
- Self-starter able to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to meet visual requirements including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to use computers and handheld electronic equipment frequently.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to support a positive shopping experience.
- Conduct sales transactions, operate cash registers, handle payments, and process exchanges or returns.
- Pull orders quickly and accurately from the stockroom and stage them for sales colleagues.
- Locate and pull merchandise to fulfill digital customer orders.
- Arrange and replenish displays to maintain an orderly and visually appealing store.
- Organize the stockroom, process new and damaged items, perform shoe inventory, and scan items back into stock.
- Maintain accurate pricing and signage, using technology to update product prices, promotions, and product and fixture information in accordance with company guidelines and policies.
- Build respectful, accepting relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
