About The Position

Remington Seeds in Belle Plaine is looking for a Shipping Coordinator / Quality Monitor. This role involves direct customer interaction for setting up inbound and outbound loads, maintaining accurate inventory records in both internal and customer systems, and ensuring a safe work environment. The position also includes quality assurance tasks such as pulling and entering samples, monitoring results, and updating the system. Seasonal duties include shakeouts at harvest time, sorting and entering returning product, and assisting with field activities. The role also requires involvement with safety and QMS protocols, keeping forms and procedures updated, and adapting to seasonal changes in responsibilities and working hours.

Requirements

Highly organized and detail oriented, a must
Applicant must be 18 years of age and pass a background check and drug screen
Must be fluent in Word & Excel
Able to learn our internal inventory system & customers systems
Good customer service
Attention to detail

Nice To Haves

SAP experience preferred
Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Working with customers directly to set up inbound and outbound loads
Keep an accurate inventory in our system, along with our customers system
Ensuring a safe work environment around the office
Providing customers with accurate information regarding seed shipments
Maintaining complete location production and processing records
Pulling and entering samples per customer request, and monitor the results and update the system
Doing shakeouts at harvest time
Help sort and enter returning product in the summer time or field activities
Be involved with safety and QMS protocols
Help keep all forms and posted procedures up to date
