About The Position

CTL Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Shipping Coordinator to manage day-to-day outbound shipping operations. The role organizes, tracks, and completes shipping tasks safely and efficiently so products reach customers on time. The Shipping Coordinator serves as a primary contact for freight carriers, prepares shipping documentation, and works closely with production and quality teams to maintain inventory accuracy.

The position operates in a combined office and manufacturing warehouse environment, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and forklift traffic. CTL Aerospace offers a salary commensurate with experience and an excellent benefits package.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of shipping or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Hands-on familiarity with carrier software or manufacturing ERP applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and stand or walk on the manufacturing shop floor for extended periods.
• Strong multitasking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree or coursework in Supply Chain Management.
• Familiarity with PLEX.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch daily outbound freight carriers, LTL shipments, and small parcel shipments using UPS WorldShip or FedEx.
• Prepare accurate shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, and international customs forms.
• Communicate with third-party logistics providers and trucking brokers to request freight quotes and resolve transit delays.
• Verify final packed loads against customer sales orders and picking travelers to ensure part numbers and quantities are accurate.
• Conduct regular cycle counts of finished goods and shipping supplies, and maintain accurate physical and digital records in the ERP system.
• Pack, label, and secure palletized loads using metal strapping, wrapping machines, or protective padding to prevent transit damage.
